Natural Cure For Hyperpigmentation, Spots and Freckles – Recipe

Tags

Hyperpigmentation is a skin disorder characterized by dark color zones in the skin and is caused by the increased amount of melanin, the dark pigment of the skin.

Exposure to sunlight, pregnancy, certain diseases, age or trauma can lead to disorders of melanin and create unsightly brown spots characteristic for this benign disorder.

The exact causes can be divided in two groups: external and internal.

The external causes can be those coming from the environment, such as sun exposure, or due to chemical compounds (betaxolol, minocycline, estrogen, progesterone, and the like.). Inner causes are related to heritage – people with darker skin are more prone to developing this disorder.

Freckles, age spots and sun spots are caused by the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun that damage melanin and result in temporary or permanent discoloration. Often these stains can be noticed on the face and arms, but can occur anywhere on the skin that has been exposed to the sun. The scars from trauma or surgery can also cause discoloration of the skin, and even if the problem goes away, dark spots remain.

Melasma is a skin hyperpigmentation that occurs during pregnancy, although sometimes it can affect men. Usually occurs during pregnancy and mainly affects the nose and cheeks. This disorder usually passes by itself after pregnancy and do not cause major problems.

Natural cure for hyperpigmentation, spots, freckles – recipe

Take 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder (turmeric). Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix well and apply on the affected area. Let it 15 minutes to dry and then rinse with cold water. Do not expose your skin to the sun immediately afterwards! Using this recipe before shower is recommended. Repeat once or twice daily for a visible improvement.

This simple remedy really works and is based on the principles of Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of healing. Lemon is bleaching and encourages skin peeling, and turmeric, besides being great and brightens the skin (and the Indians know it well) acts anti-inflammatory and makes the skin glow.
